About the Speaker- Prasiddhi Singh, Age 9, class 5 student at Mahindra World School, Tamil Nadu. She is the founder of the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation. Prasiddhi is recognised with the Prime Minister National Child Award 2021 (Highest Civilian Honour under 18 years) as the youngest social entrepreneur. She is the youngest fruit forest creator of India as per the India book of Records 2020. Two times TEDx Speaker, Prasiddhi is also the youngest keynote speaker of Harvard Model United Nations, India. She is also appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the nationwide girl literacy campaign - “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” by the Tamil Nadu Government and She has also been globally recognised as the “Earth Day” Network Rising Star (USA). She has been awarded as Global Sustainability Award 2021 by GCPIT & the Global Child Prodigy 2022. Prasiddhi has been awarded as Byju’s Young Genius, an initiative of News 18. The young green trooper has planted over 45,000 trees and created 27 Prasiddhi micro forests in government schools, colleges, trust lands and safe public places. Also created 3 community nurseries - ( one in society, in school and one with farmers to give livelihoods to them with a capacity of 25000 Saplings) Prasiddhi is an advocate of biodiversity, she has created her own eco army of 16,000+ eco-warriors spread across the globe through 250+ (online & in-person) workshops on topics like climate change, sustainability, 3Rs and how to be an impact creator to students, corporates, villagers & farmers. successfully.
