They are treated for their mental trauma, allowed to rest as long as they would wish and doctors help treat them to recover. Their desperation to finish their walk vs that of their exhausted body, mind and soul struggle is presented beautifully by the author. We come across to witness another person breathing their last by a sheer accident in this episode reducing the team count further by one in their last leap of journey. The Russian speaking village man helps them with clear directions and useful tips for path ahead and provides food for on-going journey. They estimate that in about 60 days they have walked around 1400 miles. They also experience their first heavy rain-and-thunderstorm since their flight and struggle to find shelter during that period. They use the pig fat as medication for their wounds on their feet and body. There is also a brief enounter with a group of 12 mongolian travellers who had one camel, 2 horses and 4 donkeys. These travellers share some food that helps for the next leap of ongoing journey.
